Metropolitan Air Conditioning aims to keep our customers comfortable in all climates, all year round.
Our story began in 1995 with the inception of our first plumbing business in Adelaide, SA. Our modest operation soon grew across Australia as we followed our passion for delivering excellence into other utility trades, including air conditioning and other heating and cooling solutions. How qualified are your air conditioning technicians?
All of air conditioning technicians are fully qualified, insured and have undergone extensive training to meet our high quality standards before starting work with our clients. We continuously train our staff so they are up to date with leading air conditioning best practice.
Do you charge extra for public holidays or weekends?
No we don’t! Regardless of the day or time, we never charge extra for after-hours attendance.
What are the methods of payment?
On site, our plumbers accept cash, credit card or cheque. We also have finance options** to approved applicants. If you would like to take advantage of these, simply mention it on the phone to our friendly call staff.
What other services do you offer?
We also have a team of qualified electricians and plumbers, so if you need more than just your air conditioner serviced, we can attend to all your electrical and plumbing needs too!
Are you available on weekends?
We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including all public holidays!
How do you quote?
We quote by job, not by hour. And we’ll tell you the fixed price before start, so you know exactly what you’re up for.
What models or air conditioner do you supply, install and service?
We supply, install and service most makes and models of air conditioning and heating systems, including Braemar, Breezair, Kelvinator, Carrier, Lennox, Panasonic, Toshiba, Sharp, Nec, Hitachi, York and many more!
How quick can you arrive?
Wherever possible, we can be at your door within the hour*. If you have a time/date preference, we will always do our best to fit in with your schedule.
Are you insured?
Yes! We have $20 million dollars of liability insurance.

Ben looked at a number of small things around our house, giving sound advice. Didn’t get the feeling he was trying to upsell or create jobs that didn’t need doing. He installed new powerpoints and did a great job. Would recommend.

Elliot was so efficient and knowledgeable. His customer service went over and beyond as our home is quiet old and comes with some difficulties but Elliot was very patient and persistent getting the job done perfectly and professionally. He is friendly and explained what he was doing which was quite comforting because I felt I could trust him. I would highly recommend Elliot and would request him if needed in the future.

After a bit of a wait for a pc board to be delivered over Christmas, it was found that further damage caused by a lightning storm power surge rendered the outside unit not repairable. A replacement, like for like was recommended, sourced and expertly installed by Ben and an assistant electrician.
The installation was completed efficiently and in a timely manner to our satisfaction.
Many thanks to the boys for their helpful, friendly and professional service.
