Metropolitan Air Conditioning aims to keep our customers comfortable in all climates, all year round.
Our story began in 1995 with the inception of our first plumbing business in Adelaide, SA. Our modest operation soon grew across Australia as we followed our passion for delivering excellence into other utility trades, including air conditioning and other heating and cooling solutions. Today, we keep hundreds of customers comfortable in all climates through our complete air conditioning service.

How qualified are your air conditioning technicians?
All of air conditioning technicians are fully qualified, insured and have undergone extensive training to meet our high quality standards before starting work with our clients. We continuously train our staff so they are up to date with leading air conditioning best practice.
Do you charge extra for public holidays or weekends?
No we don’t! Regardless of the day or time, we never charge extra for after-hours attendance.
What are the methods of payment?
On site, our plumbers accept cash, credit card or cheque. We also have finance options** to approved applicants. If you would like to take advantage of these, simply mention it on the phone to our friendly call staff.
What other services do you offer?
We also have a team of qualified electricians and plumbers, so if you need more than just your air conditioner serviced, we can attend to all your electrical and plumbing needs too!
Are you available on weekends?
We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including all public holidays!
How do you quote?
We quote by job, not by hour. And we’ll tell you the fixed price before start, so you know exactly what you’re up for.
What models or air conditioner do you supply, install and service?
We supply, install and service most makes and models of air conditioning and heating systems, including Braemar, Breezair, Kelvinator, Carrier, Lennox, Panasonic, Toshiba, Sharp, Nec, Hitachi, York and many more!
How quick can you arrive?
Wherever possible, we can be at your door within the hour*. If you have a time/date preference, we will always do our best to fit in with your schedule.
Are you insured?
Yes! We have $20 million dollars of liability insurance.

Electrician arrived on time in a Jim’s van and Ben explained that was his vehicle and he was closest to the job that matched his skill set, he quoted a fixed price investigation fee a rectified the issue, great work!

Ben, Shane And Andrew. These boy took the job on and smashed it out of the park. Other issues came up and the boys just delt with them. a head ache for me has been resolved. The quote was great. All future work from me will be going their way.

Terrible customer service- turned up 3 hours late after I had to chase them. Provided a ridiculously expensive quote and did not carry basic gas safety checks. Should not be operating.

I booked through Jim's Heating and Cooling which is the same company apparently.
I was told when I booked (with a $132 fee), that I would good a fixed price when the serviceman arrived He arrived 1.5 hours after his appointment window and then told me it was $699 for the first service at 6 months on an aircon unit. It was going to take him around an hour to clean the pads and unit.
I told him I would like to talk to his service manager, but he said they wouldn't call me. I contacted Jim's Heating and Cooling again via their website - no response.
I don't think there is anything positive I can say about their service.
