Terrible.

Purchased 3 roller blinds for my front window. Was told they would provide complete privacy however large gaps are present allowing me to have a panoramic view of outside, and people outside to have a panoramic view of my living room. Contacted Burns for Blinds re: issue. Have refused a refund or discount despite the blinds not matching the product described by the blinds consultant that visited my house. Said that they had fulfilled their end of the contract as the contract did not specify that the blinds need to provide privacy. I'm unsure what the function of blinds is other than privacy and light block-out and their product provides neither. The only assistance they offered was to try and sell me additional outside blinds to provide more privacy. Highly recommend this company be avoided.

Burns for blinds do not Even deserve one star. I don't know where to begin, they are absolutely useless and never ever would I Rec them to anybody. In Nov we got a quote, where we paid a deposit then an there. We were told they would be installed by Christmas. Early jan we still had not heard anything, so we chase them up and apparently our deposit had no records therefor they did not order out blinds. We were told they would get them done in 2 weeks. Another month past and still we heard nothing. Finally got them installed in feb, and what horrible job they did!! So we rang them up an complained, which they sent an installer around to view. They agreed it was appalling and took photos to show the boss. 2 weeks later still didn't hear back, so we ring an chase it up. Got told they would call back. A week later we chase them up again, again told they would call back. This went on for several weeks, and then we finally get a call from the big boss who says he won't do anything about it. Worst customer service ever and what a waste of money!!! Do not have them waste your time as well as money

Terrible customer service, the managers (Mark and Anil) are very greedy and are absolutely not interested in making customers happy.

I ordered my blinds in October 2013, it is almost mid February 2014 now and I still have not received my blinds. The installer has been 6 times in my place and every time there is something wring wrong with my blinds: wrong size, damaged. crooked...and so on. The management doesn't want to offer any compensation at all and simply don't want to talk to you .
whoever reads this please don't buy blinds or any other product from this company, please don't put your money into the hands of these greedy people who don't care about anyone else but themselves.

PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A BUSINESS
In Nov 2013, we were looking for blinds for our home, we called burns for blinds 2 come and do measurements and a quote for us. A guy (Felix) came and was measuring our windows. our house was built in 1953 so the walls aren't all the same measurements, we told the guy to measure from the top of the window to the bottom, however he insisted 2 only measure as far as he could reach.
Blinds came, wrong measurements. Sent them Back.
The installer (fantastic guy) re measured and did it properly.
2nd time they came, still wrong measurements. The manufactures crossed out the measurements and wrote different ones down.
Sent them back. They have been back 5 times and all times, wrong measurement (once they even sent back 1 of the first blinds they made)
Now it is Jan 2014 and we are still waiting on one more blind.
We paid a deposit, and we still have money owing which we refused to give until ALL blinds were installed.
6 weeks ago (after the last time we sent them back) the next few days we were trying 2 contact them 2 find out what was going on, are they making the blind? We kept getting the reception ladies who always responded with ill get them 2 call you.
We never heard back from them so we stopped trying too.
6Weeks later we get a phone call saying the blind is ready, and that if we don't pay the rest of the money they will take us to court, 2 which we responded we would like some discount for the inconvenience they caused us and for us having 2 take time of work 2 let the installer in all those times)
The guy said he will call back (he didn't) so I called them and had 2 yell and threaten them by withholding payment in order for the reception ladies 2 put me through. They guy said no further discount will be taken off but they can offer a $300 voucher for next time. YEA RIGHT. I laughed and said that he was crazy 2 think we would ever come back 2 him. They are coming in a week to install the final blind, it better be right this time.
